Commack, NY: July 25, 2009 -- The Conservative Society for Action has been organizing protests to fight efforts to Nationalize our Health Care system. CSA arrived at a shopping mall in Commack, Long Island to "meet" ACORN organizers who were promoting Obamacare. Apparently, ACORN was NOT happy to see us. Take a look:

Constituents Kicked out of Senator Chuck Schumer's Office!
Long Island, NY: July 17, 2009 -- The Conservative Society for Action (CSA) delivered a proclamation from "We the people" asking Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to oppose Nationalized Health Care Initiatives.
Schumer's office tried to bar constituents from the office because they "didn't have an appointment". Gillibrand's staff saw us coming and simply locked the office door and left. We have heard that other Senators around the country did the same thing.

A week later, the CSA implemented this strategy when Long Island Congressman Tim Bishop held a Town Hall meeting.

CSA blasts no-show Carolyn McCarthy
Carolyn McCarthy has been hiding from her constituents all year. She is a pawn for the Democratic party, listening more to Nancy Pelosi than her own district. She needs to be voted out in 2010. The Conservative Society for Action will do everything it can to dump McCarthy!

CSA Exposes Outrage at Islip Town Board
Members of the Conservative Society for Action attended the Islip Town Board meeting on October 14, 2009. Councilman Steve Flotteron offered three resolutions designed to save $750,000. Supervisor Nolan and his supporters on the town board announced plans to lay off 70 low level employees to balance the budget. Nolan recently gave out "discretionary raises" to a number of high-level officials. Flotteron feels high-level town employees should share in the burden of a tough economy. He presented three resolutions: 1) High-paid officials should accept a temporary 10% cut in salary; 2) High-paid employees should contribute 15% of their cost of health insurance; and 3) Recent raises for high-paid officials should be rolled back. The three resolutions were defeated because NO other town board member would even second the motions. In short, Islip Town will balance the budget on the backs of their lowest-paid employees while giving out raises to high-level officials.
Foley's Follies
Senator Brian Foley was the deciding vote to create the MTA payroll tax in New York State. Now that he's running for re-election, he's running to voters and telling them that he will "clean up the MTA payroll tax mess". Sounds like Barney Frank... Create a crisis, then offer to clean it up. Foley MUST be defeated in November. Stay tuned for new episodes of "Foley's Follies" produced by the Conservative Society for Action: www.csa-1776.org.
