Taking Our Country Back!

The Conservative Society for Action was formed in October of 2008 because it was clear that the 2008 elections would swing the country far to the Left -- radical left.

We knew that the House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate would become “filibuster proof”. It was also clear that Republican control of the New York State Senate was in jeopardy.

We all know what happened.

The Conservative Society for Action (CSA) has been fighting ever since. The operative word for CSA has been “Action”. We believe the time for talk has passed. CSA has taken to the streets and the internet to get out the message that we will be “Silent No More”. CSA has held more than 100 street rallies, press conferences, protests and lobbying trips to Hauppauge, Albany, and Washington DC.

CSA’s “Silent No More” Banner has been to all these places along with thousands of CSA members and followers to make one point, “We Want Our Country Back”.

CSA originated the Town Hall Protest Movement when it assembled 500 protesters in Setauket, Long Island on June 22nd. Videos of that town hall have been viewed by more than 800,000 people.

CSA director Stephen Flanagan and other CSA members have appeared on Fox News, Neal Cavuto, News 12 and in dozens of newspapers. CSA members adorned the front cover of Newsday following Rep. Tim Bishop’s town hall meeting in July.

CSA has made an impact in local elections. When Liberal Jim Morgo decided to run for Islip Town Board as part of the Phil Nolan Team, CSA quickly unleashed a barrage of informative videos released through our “alternative media” channels. CSA’s video “Outrage at Islip Town Board Meeting” went viral and helped Republicans Flotteron and Bergin win in a landslide.

Effective Political Action:

CSA formed its PAC to prepare for the fight ahead. The political reality is simple: it all comes down to 2010.

Here’s the target list:

• Rep Tim Bishop, from the 1st Congressional District, must be defeated. CSA has spent the last six months creating negatives so that he has now been deemed “vulnerable” by leading political pundits.
• Rep. Steve Israel, from the 2nd Congressional District, has cast a series of damaging votes for Long Island that will make him vulnerable.
• Rep Caroline McCarthy, from the 4th Congressional District, has been vulnerable for quite some time. This is the year we can take her out.
• State Senator Brian Foley must be defeated. The balance of power for all of New York State is at stake. CSA plans to continue its assault on his record that includes casting the deciding vote for the MTA tax, elimination of the Star Rebate, and voting for the biggest budget & tax increases in NY State history.

Can We Do It? Yes.

All it takes is the right plan and the money to execute the plan. CSA-PAC is in a unique position to create huge negatives on incumbent politicians. Our message creates HARD opposition that spreads like wildfire.
