The
House of Representatives has made it clear that they no longer believe in
free enterprise and freedom. By passing the massive multi-trillion dollar
socialized healthcare bill, we are a gigantic step closer to becoming Canada
or France.
Ironically,
those countries now bemoan their bloated socialist economies and are
discussing ways to move closer to American Style capitalism. America,
however, seems locked on an endless path to make the same mistakes that
these countries are trying to reverse.
It
would be funny -- if not so profoundly sad -- that while Obama and Pelosi
march us towards socialism, France's President Sarkozy ran and won on a
platform of "Americanizing Our Economy". Even the French now
know that massive government control of the economy does not work.
So
what does this mean?
For
me it means we must fight harder and longer. It means we become more focused
and aggressive. It means we must now start pounding on the doors of
representatives where we may have only knocked politely before. It also
means that we have to do what the Left has done - take our battle to court.
I
am advocating a Constitutional crisis in America. We need a State in the
union or a group of people to challenge the legality of Pelosi's Big
Government. It was not long ago that the words "big" and
"government" could not stand together. Oh how things have changed.
Think
of the implications of the Health Care Bill:
1) Companies and individuals will
still be paying for their current healthcare, PLUS a huge government
health care TAX to pay for government's "ultimate solution"
that won't provide one benefit for five years. Yes! Five years of taxes on
top of existing health care costs before the first benefit appears. Additionally, private health insurance premiums will now skyrocket because the federal government will mandate additional benefits.
2) This bill adds trillions of
dollars to the deficit. It is blatantly absurd for Pelosi and Obama to
suggest spending trillions of dollars will "help reduce the
deficit". Where is our free press? Where are our independent watchdog
groups? Where is the outrage beyond the Conservative Society for Action and
other dedicated patriots? And what about the $3 trillion in unfunded mandates dumped on the states? How will the states come up with this money. We know that answer.
3) What happened to the concept of
FREEDOM in America? When did it become fashionable that individual
Americans be ORDERED to purchase what the government tells you to purchase?
When did it come fashionable for government to CONTROL how much money you
make? When did it become fashionable that in a time of recession government
adds new energy taxes, MTA taxes, health care taxes, eliminates tax cuts and
quadruples the deficit that these same people criticized when it was a mere
$345 Billion last year? It is now $1,400 Billion ($1.4 trillion).
4) Where is the ACLU? That
so-called great watch dog for individual rights has caved in to its Left wing masters. The ACLU railed against the Patriot Act because it might
step on individual freedom. Nationalized health affects the individual
freedom of EVERY American. YOU and every American will be told when you can
see a doctor, what treatment you can get and what treatment you WON'T get.
Most
of all, I fear for small business. It is hard to believe that ANY small business will be able to survive with such a horrific tax
burden. I now believe that this is INTENTIONAL. The actions of our federal
government in the past ten months can lead to only one conclusion: They are
determined to destroy small business and America's middle class. Why would
they do this? Think about it.
There
is one sure way to for one group of people to gain control over another
group of people and that is to make one group DEPENDENT on the other.
If more than half of Americans become dependent on the government for their
survival, than America as we know it will die.
Most
Americans are currently in the middle class. The truly poor are not impacted
by higher taxes or higher high energy costs or the corporate tax rate. The
Rich don't care about the cost of a tank of gasoline or health care because
these are small costs for them.
Today,
almost 40% of our population is "dependent" on government to
survive. These are people on welfare and other subsistence programs. These
are also people that work for the government. No government worker or
welfare recipient will ever vote to cut government spending. That
makes sense for them because they are on the government payroll.
So
where do you find the other 11% needed to make 51% of all
Americans dependent? Easy.
Restrict
credit for small business while bailing out huge corporations. Add huge
energy taxes. Create "clean air" regulations that can't be met.
Make small business pay a government health care tax while still paying for
medical benefits. Raise the limits on social security taxes while also
raising the rates. Create environmental laws that restrict new business
expansion. Continue an energy policy that drains $1.2 trillion out of our
economy each year. Raise taxes on the middle class through income tax
increases, hikes in user fees and permits, sales taxes, property taxes and hikes in the alternative minimum tax, etc,
etc. etc. etc.
The
final goal for the Pelosi-Obama team is to knock 15% of the middle class
down to the dependent class. As things are progressing now, they will be
successful within a short time.
This is NOT the America I want for my children!
This
is a future that I will fight! This is a future that we must all fight!
My
ancestors came to America because it was a better country. They sacrificed
so that my generation would see the fruits of their labor and sacrifice.
Their sacrifice included wars against tyranny, communism and fascism.
America has always stood up for freedom.
We
now face our greatest threat and it comes from within.
Let's
not allow our children to look back on this time and say that America's
bright light for freedom started growing dim while on our watch!
Fight America, Fight!

Thank you!
